You've all heard of it at one time or another--the near mythical rumor of the SS Anne Truck. Legend (or rumor) has it that, if you avoid going of the SS Anne and get CUT some other way, you can surf next to the ship and find a dock with a truck on it, and under the truck is supposedly Mew. I've never attempted it myself, but I've seen enough YouTube videos to convince me that the truck really is there. However, I seriously doubt Mew is or ever was under the truck. Discuss.
I just found a glitch that lets you get to through to the SS Anne no matter where you are. I tired it and it didn't work, but I want to see someone else get it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEqfbyKRaAk

I tried this before. But, alas.... I found nothing but a truck that looks like some person abandoned. I was dumbfounded of how it got there. I used my GameShark code to see Deoxys after a conversation and got there.... nothing.

This is a rather old post, I know. But, there is no Mew. There's also no proof you can move the truck. Take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFn9pqOYvus&NR=1

The only thing to know now is, why was that truck there in the first place!?

Maybe the developers just felt like throwing it in there, like how they hid Mario in Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Or maybe it was for an event that never happened. For some reason, I feel like it was connected to the Power Plant, but that's just me.

I think it is, because there is a similar truck in the Power Plant. At least in Fire Red and Leaf Green, not too sure about the older ones. Haven't played them in forever. o.0

Really? That was just an insane guess of mine. Well, I remember that Vermilion is near that dark cave thing which is near the Power Plant. Plus what other place aside from the Power Plant and maybe Sylph Co has any moderately advanced technology? I mean, what's something like a single truck doing in the entire country? Of course, this is Pokemon, so it could just have no secret meaning whatsoever.

Yup. I know they do have cars in there, because there's generally always a truck when you start the game. Don't you start out in a truck? But, meh. I know Zapdos is there by the truck, maybe that has something to do with it. The birdy wanted a toy so it stole a truck. XD And places it on that dock place when it gets bored with it.
